    My Films

As a director trained at Prague Film School, I’ve completed eight films that reflect my deep interest in both storytelling and the visual language of cinema. While many of these projects are still in various stages of post-production or not yet ready for public screening, I am happy to share a private link for those interested in viewing select works. My background in production design strongly informs my directing style—I approach each frame with a designer’s eye, building the visual world in tandem with narrative. I’m driven by the emotional and aesthetic rhythm of a film, and I see directing as a collaboration between image, performance, and space.

    Unfinished

A profoundly personal and haunting endeavor, "Unfinished" tells the story of Ruby, whose life is interrupted by the surprising return of her long-dead sister, Ellie. Through a symbolic game of Jenga, they uncover the mystery surrounding events from 15 years prior. Although still in development, the film stands as one of my most ambitious and emotionally charged works.

    REM Sleep

"REM Sleep" is a sleek, surreal exploration of escapism and pharmaceutical fixation, presented as a dreamy advertisement for a groundbreaking pill that guarantees the best sleep of your life—and an entryway into another reality. However, as side effects start to appear, the facade begins to shatter.

    Tonight's Special

A dark comedy infused with drama, "Tonight’s Special" centers around Ridley, a young chef eager to impress a visiting food critic. However, when her overbearing boss drives her to the edge and ultimately ends up dead, her plans spiral out of control. With guests still arriving, Ridley must navigate dinner service while concealing a lethal secret.

    The Unusual Couple

Drawing inspiration from classic sitcoms, "The Unusual Couple" examines the consequences of a character realizing they are confined within a fictional universe. Blending humor and discomfort, the film skillfully manipulates genre norms while posing the question: what is real, and what is merely for the laugh track?

    How Long?

Created as part of a workshop, "How Long?" is a short yet powerful expression of heartbreak. After discovering her boyfriend’s betrayal, a girl turns to dance as a way to release her pain and reclaim her strength for herself. Emotional, raw, and visually driven.

    Envy

Two women: one has wealth but no love, while the other, a maid, possesses passion but little else. "Envy" unfolds as a moody, intimate tale about desire, resentment, and the quiet battles we fight behind closed doors.

    Northside

Northside tells the story of a girl who relocates to a new town and becomes entangled in a rivalry between two gangs. This coming-of-age film is grounded in community collaboration, blending youthful imagination with a powerful narrative.

    3

Three is a brief mystery film made within a limited four-hour production timeframe. The plot revolves around a group of individuals grappling with the mysterious vanishing of a loved one. In a subdued, nearly ritualistic moment, they assemble around a solitary candle, posing questions to it—yearning for answers, seeking closure, or possibly pursuing something more sinister.

    Original Scripts

    Enigmatic

The Princess, the Witch, and the Pirate

The Princess, the Witch, and the Pirate

Enigmatic is an original stage play that marked a milestone as Denver South High School’s first student-written and student-directed production. Developed over two years, the story follows Bri, a high school student unraveling the mystery behind her ex-best friend's tragic fall. As secrets surface, Enigmatic explores fractured friendships, grief, and the search for truth. Blending mystery, drama, and emotional depth, the play resonated deeply with its audience and celebrated the power of youth-driven storytelling.

The Princess, the Witch, and the Pirate

The Princess, the Witch, and the Pirate

The Princess, the Witch, and the Pirate

As a summer project in 2023, I wrote and produced The Princess, the Witch, and the Pirate—an original play developed and performed by children during three weeks. The program concluded with a live performance for parents, held in a theater-in-the-round format, which provided a distinct and immersive experience for the audience.

    Morte Della Villa

The Princess, the Witch, and the Pirate

    Morte Della Villa

Morte Della Villa marked my first attempt at a cohesive, narrative-driven production—a comedic murder mystery performed by just nine participants. Despite the small cast, this summer project was a success, laying the groundwork for future story-based productions. This project established a new standard for my storytelling ambitions going forward.
